Mudeford beach. The harbour side of the sandbank is designated. Tuesday will have a cloudy start to the day with a few showers but it will be drier in the afternoon with sunshine. 06 miles from the centre of Mudeford.
From here a ferry can be taken to Mudeford Sandbanks a unique spit that joins the village to Hengistbury Head jutting out into the English Channel between Bournemouth and Christchurch. Mudeford sand spit is in fact a sort of shed shanty town. 365 beach huts one for every day of the year maybe crammed into quite a small space.
There are around 300 huts here many of which have residential status unlike elsewhere. It is a great place to take a gentle stroll next to the waters edge and watch all the busy activities taking place. Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday.
