Kayaks can be rented nearby in Avalon or Two Harbors but Long Point Beach is a little closer to Avalon. The beaches though beautiful are just a small part of what attracts travelers to the area. The water is crystal clear but the swimming area is quite small.

On its eastern side is a small 60 m wide rocky embayment containing beach T 135. There is a spacious parking lot behind the beach and washrooms are available as well. But Turkey Point beach is in my opinion much worse than Long Point beach small commercialized industrialized.
